Dead Space is a game that has the hero, Isaac Clarke, going up against a horde of creatures called
Issac's goal is to save Nicole, his ex-girlfriend, and get off of the Ishimura, but when every corner and shadow holds a threat, how can he expect to survive?
This is where the Plasma Cutter comes in. And a really sturdy set of boots.
( Trying to begin )
For those of your familiar with World of Warcraft but not the original games, here is what makes WCIII so different from WCI and WCII: while the first two games were all about why Orcs and Humans hate each other, WCIII is why everyone hates each other. It's also about why they shouldn't because, really, considering all the shit the various races went through together in this game, everyone should be BFF by now
This game is also relentlessly sad. Even more so, since it ends on a note of hope that is quickly quashed out by subsequent entires in the series. But all in all it is a challenging game with a beautiful story and a ridiculously engaging cast. Even if nothing good ever happens to any of them.

This might be the most ridiculously giant FST seen here in a while, so I'll do you a favour and tell you right up front whether or not you should bother looking under the cut.
If you feel that you:
a) need (A WHOLE LOT) more instrumental fantasy music in your life
b) have been bereft recently of depressing laments and epic choral pieces (with bonus harpsichord!)
or, c) really have a hankering for put-upon Jewish waltzes
- then THIS is the FST for you!
Here it is, FST: a four disc gregorian-chanting-anachronistic-synthin g-heart-breaking-pianoing-chess-metaphor ing-it's-the-end-of-the-world-but-we're-s till-dancing D&D Soundtrack!
( This is Gnomish Chess. Our people play in eight dimensions: the fifth is money, the sixth is mini golf. We have quite figured out what seven and eight are yet, but very few people have died playing it so we're assuming it's safe. )
( DISC I: The Disc With the Title Eponymous to its Function )
( DISC II: If All Life's a Game... )
( DISC III: Heart of Darkness )
( DISC IV: Twilight of the Gods )

I admit, I was a little bitter that "Original Stories/Characters" didn't make the theme cut this year since I was particularly excited about seeing what people would post (I have this theory that people save their very best and favorite songs for their own creations). Additionally, I spend far too much time sitting around attributing music not only to my OCs, but my friends' OCs as well. I have a ridiculous wealth of instrumental music- contemporary composers, OC Remixes, rare video game releases, movie soundtracks, new age schlock that's actually nice, ect.- and it always seems a shame to me that these soundtracks I put together are only ever shared with a handful of people.
So for your listening pleasure, FST, here are forty-four tracks of high-wheeling! death-defying! rollicking! adventure on the high seas and beyond, all set to the tune of the 3.5 rule-set and a generous handful of d20s!
( 'Hah- you expect me to believe that you're a *real* Lich!?' )

We can't tell you who we are. Or where we live. It's too risky, and we've got to be careful. Really careful. So we don't trust anyone. Because if they find us . . . well, we just won't let them find us.
The thing you should know is that everyone is in really big trouble. Yeah. ( Even you. )

This is the first FST I've made. Type Moon's Tsukihime is a visual novel game written by Kinoko Nasu. The game is about Tohno Shiki, an otherwise normal young man who after his biological father's death moves back to the mansion he grew up in. Eventually he encounters a woman named Arcueid Brunestud, a vampire who introduces Shiki to what may very well be what he's meant to do with life.

Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki, is another story about the War between Heaven and Hell. What makes it unique are the characters and the fact that all are them aren't just drool-worthy bishies, but that all of them are well-developed, even characters you see only once in a while (the random lab tech the main character takes hostage comes to mind). The story revolves around reviving Alexiel, one of the two twins of Adam Kadmon, considered to be the first angel.

Here's Part 2 to my previous fst post of my Mithos/Genis fst, this time with my just Mithos one. That post can be found here. There's a big introduction in that post that I will not be including in this one.
Once again, there are major SPOILERS in both of these fsts, so don't say I didn't warn you. Less track commentary this time because 1) most of these songs just really don't need it, and 2) I'm in a major hurry, so you're lucky this is even going up today at all.

Originally I set out to do just a pure Mithos/Genis from the video game Tales of Symphonia fst, but I began finding so many songs that worked so well for just Mithos that I ended up basically making just two (connected) fsts. This one is the Mithos/Genis fst, and I will be posting the just Mithos one at around this time tomorrow as a kind of 'Part 2' post. Hope that's alright.
There are major SPOILERS for the entire game in here, so proceed with caution.
